Twitter for iOS updated with new focus on conversations

Twitter for iOS has been updated, adding a new way to view conversations, along with other enhancements. The new conversation view makes it easier for people to browse through conversations between the people they follow. A blue line between two tweets in the timeline shows that those two people are in a conversation. The first tweet in a conversation will now appear on top of the reply. Tap the first tweet to see all of the replies.

The update also brings new notification settings, as well as bug fixes for issues with direct messages and login verification, among other things. The update is now available for free on the App Store, so go grab it. Then tell us - is the new conversation view helpful, or just more clutter on the once simple Twitter?

Twitter for iOS updated with new focus on conversations

I do not like it. It's too much. Now, I'm not sure what I'm looking at. I wish I could go back to the prior update.

i'll have to check this out just out of curiosity. Tweetbot is one of the few apps i've bought and the straw that broke the camel's back was that i couldn't intuitively get it to show conversations. There may have been a way but i couldn't find it. I bit the bullet and bought tweetbot. So i'll have to download it and test it out.
