Potential iPhone 4S and iPad 2 jailbreak on the horizon?

A couple of quick updates for those still waiting on Apple A5 device jailbreaks -- namely iPhone 4S and iPad 2 -- as well as an iOS 5.1 jailbreak.

For iPhone 4S and iPad 2 devices, @pod2g just tweeted the following:

made a step today for the A5. With some luck we could expect a release in a week.

As to iOS 5.1, @i0n1c seems to have something in the pipeline, so 2012 could get off to a strong start for team Jailbreak.

Potential iPhone 4S and iPad 2 jailbreak on the horizon?

Your the one who'd be loosing so telling us doesn't make you or your choice any smarter.
Anyways,...I have a question,: could the reason jail breaking A5 devices taking so long mean Apple is getting better at preventing the devices from being jailbroken?

Yes! Same thing happened with the HTC EVO 4G and the v2.16 bootloader. HTC made it very difficult to crack, and took over a month before one was available.

Pink bumper? it looks very red.
That's why I hate the color representation of a LCD monitor.

Funny, you say "who cares" yet you are here to read AND to take the time to comment. Tells me you obviously care. Either that or you truly have no life? :)

an A5 jailbreak is the only thing keeping me from getting the 4S since they released untether a4 jailbreaks. Love having it back.

How long do jailbreaks normally take to be released? like how long after the iphone 4 launched was there a jailbreak?

I've been looking forward to an iPhone 4S jailbreak ever since it came out so a legal and fully functional Siri Port can happen

Finally. I'm already getting sick of my stock 4s. I cant even load ringtones without having to go through a process. What the hell apple.

Don't buy Apple products, sold my iPad 2 and iPhone. Hit them in the bottom line $$$$$$. Apple controls everything and yet we rush to buy their products. we make Apple....Let's show them!
