Sure it's a bit of a risk launching our new Verizon iPhone Forum before big red makes the big announcement but we wanted to make sure you had a place to talk before and during the event, so here it is.

If you're waiting patiently for the event to get under way, the Verizon iPhone Forum -- all our iPhone and iPad Forums for that matter -- are naturally a great place to chat, commiserate, celebrate, get help, and offer advice to your fellow users. (And to get in on the give aways, more on that later!) In order to create a new thread of your own or reply to any of the existing threads, you must be a registered member. Becoming a member is easy and free so if you haven’t already, head on over and register now!

• How many of our readers are switching from an AT&T iPhone to the Verizon version?

• There is not a better time than right now to speculate on the shipping date of of the Verizon iPhone.

• A big question a lot of folks are asking is what happens when the iPhone 5 is released this summer? How will my upgrade work? Will I even be able to make the purchase with a subsidiary? All good questions, discuss those here.

• It is highly probable that this Verizon iPhone will be an identical counterpart to it's AT&T cousin with the exception of the CDMA radio but there is always that slim chance something else may be different. Share your thoughts here.

• Will you be able to Jailbreak the Verizon iPhone? That should be only a matter of time, but what about unlocking it? Could you get it over to Sprint? We don't put anything past the hacker community so keep an eye on our iPhone Jailbreak and Unlock Forum.
