VLC for iOS gets new look, Google Drive integration, and more

VLC for iOS has been updated to version 2.2 with an updated interface for iOS 7, streaming options, and more. VLC 2.2 adds video streaming from Dropbox, as well as the newly-integrated Google Drive.

There are a number of improvements in VLC 2.2. New multitouch gestures for easier navigation. The TV show and audio file library has been improved. UPnP integration now includes download support. New protocols and streaming formats are now supported in the app. Wi-Fi uploading also been rewritten. New users will now be presented with a tutorial of VLC on startup.

Awesome! Thanks for the heads up. I don't think I'll be able to update mine this week so may I ask if they also added an in-app screen lock orientation?
