How to order iPhone SE in Canada

The brand new iPhone SE is now available to order in many markets throughout the world. If you're in Canada, here's what you need to know about ordering.

Not in Canada? Here's how to pre-order iPhone SE in the U.S., and the U.K.

How much is it?

You can find out everything about the iPhone SE's pricing in our iPhone SE Canadian Pricing and Availability post, but here's the tl;dr:

The 16GB iPhone SE sells for $579 CAD and the 64GB model sells for $709, unlocked directly from Apple. Carriers are selling the device for between $99 and $229 for the 16GB and 64GB models, respectively.

Apple Store

Pre-orders for the iPhone SE begin on March 24th, with units available in Apple Stores, and through delivery, on March 31st. The Apple Store is the best place to get an unlocked iPhone, since Canadian carriers charge around $50 to unlock the device if purchased on contract. Physical Apple retail stores will also sell the iPhone SE with a carrier contract at their price, and Apple is usually generous enough to throw in a free SIM card, something the carrier stores themselves often charge for.

It's also a good idea to look into AppleCare+ to ensure your precious new iPhone can be replaced if it gets damaged.

Best Buy Mobile

Best Buy is one of the major retailers offering the iPhone SE, and its relationship with most of the carriers means that you'll be able to walk into the store and get the device along with a new plan. The advantage of Best Buy is that because it is non-partisan, it often discounts handset or plan prices.

The carriers - Rogers, Bell, Telus (and others)

Most Canadian carriers will be selling the iPhone SE when it is released on March 31. Some have pre-order pages, while others will likely quietly update their existing iPhone 5s pages with the iPhone SE when it becomes available.
