Withings at #CESlive: How the Aura will help you get a better night's rest

Withings makes health products connected to your smart devices and the Internet to help you track everything from weight to blood pressure to your baby to your general activity. Now they want to help you get a better night's sleep with the Aura smart sleep system.

Aura incorporates a bedside device that records data about your sleep environment - noise, temperature, level of ambient light - and works with a sleep sensor that slips under your mattress, monitoring your movements while you sleep. The bedside device provides light and sound based on what Withings calls scientifically-validated programs, and an accompanying app for your iPhone helps you visualize how you're sleeping and control wake-up and fall-asleep programs. Aura is coming this spring.

What do you think about biometric sleep solutions like Aura? Is it likely to improve your rest? Tell me what you think in the comments.

We've got lots more from #CESlive - please stay tuned.

Withings at #CESlive: How the Aura will help you get a better night's rest

The music in the video is way too loud. I am guessing there was a reason to have it so loud? It was just hard to hear what they were saying with the background noise AND the music. Maybe I'm just getting old.

I will buy this immediately, I was just thinking Sleep Cycle Alarm Clock should do something similar, but now this, and this is better.
