Write for Mac now available as free beta

Tanmay Sonawane made an impact on iOS-using wordsmiths last year with his release of Write, a well-crafted app that enables you to write notes and sync them using Dropbox. Now Tanmay's back with Write for Mac.

Available for download as a free beta, Write for Mac retains its focus on simple editing, inline Markdown rendering and clean, easy to read fontography. Features include the ability to organize your notes by adding multiple sources from any location on your Mac, integrating with iCloud and Dropbox syncing, and exporting as RTF or rendered PDF, printing, e-mail or saving as HTML.

Once it's ready for release Write for Mac will be available on the Mac App Store. For now, you can sign up to download the beta, which is a time-limited seven day release. OS X Lion (10.7) is required.
