xScope 4 now available in the Mac App Store, 50% off for a limited time

xScope, the powerful Mac app from the folks at The Iconfactory, has been updated to version 4 with over 80 new features, and to celebrate they're also making it 50 percent off for a limited time. While it isn't an app that everyone out there will use, if you're a developer or a designer you've undoubtedly heard of xScope when it comes to designing icons, layouts and graphics.

Version 4 of xScope brings a whole bunch of great new features, including a refreshed modern interface, full Retina display support, a new text tool, new overlay tool, new rulers and dozens of other small improvements and bug fixes all around.

The 50 percent off sale drops xScope 4 down to just $24.99, and existing xScope 3 owners can visit the xScope homepage to receive their own discount for upgrading as well.
