Airmail for Mac picks up Smart Folders, VIP contacts, and more

Airmail, the third-party email app for Mac, has received a lot of new features and improvements with version 3.0, and the app is now more in line with its counterpart for iPhone and iPad, adding Smart Folders, VIP contacts and notifications, and "send later" support for Gmail and Exchange accounts. Airmail will now also sync rules, VIP contacts, and Smart Folders over iCloud between iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Airmail 3.0 is a free update for existing users, and can be found now on the Mac App Store.
