In the video message, published by French blog Mac4Ever, Arhendts says that the decision to go with an online-only ordering process for the Apple Watch was "not easy," but it was one that Apple made in order to give customers an efficient experience for picking out the right combination of colors and models. Ahrendts then goes on to confirm that some pre-order customers will indeed begin receiving their Apple Watch orders this Friday, April 24.

Ahrendts also goes over the new MacBook launch, stating that demand for the space gray and gold versions has been "off the charts." She then emphasizes that, due to the laptop's single USB-C port, personal setup for the device will be much different.

Ahrendts says that the launch of both products represents a unique situation, and the company will continue its "blockbuster" store launches in the future. She also stated that she will continue to update employees with weekly messages on both product launches going forward.
