Audio editor Triumph becomes even more powerful in version 2.5

Audiofile has released Triumph 2.5, their audio editing app for Mac. Triumph 2.5 adds a number of new features, including optimizations for OS X Yosemite and a number of changes that make working in the app much easier.

The big change with Triumph 2.5 is the Render Assistant. The feature has been redesigned, and now lets you render and export in multiple audio formats at the same time. It's also easy to listen to your assets with the addition of a Play button to an item's popover. You can also import video for post-production work.

Triumph 2.5 includes several other enhancements. New algorithms by Goodhertz, who previously developed the app's digital scrubbing feature, upgrade Triumph's sample rate conversion. Editing individual channels has been improved in the Waveform view. There have also been improvements to multichannel file support, as well as SoundCloud integration.

Triumph 2.5 is currently available on Audiofile's website for $79.99, though you can download a free trial. You will also be able to download Triumph 2.5 through as a free upgrade to version 2.3.2 when it goes live on the Mac App Store.
