Chase Bank now lets you log into its app with Touch ID

Chase Bank has updated its mobile banking app, adding support for Touch ID. With this support, customers can log in to the Chase app using their fingerprint. However, some transactions will still require you to use your password, including Chase's QuickPay feature.

Below is what's new in Chase Mobile 2.440:

  • Users with Touch ID-capable devices can use Touch ID to log in.

Note: Touch ID needs to be enabled on your phone before you can activate it within the Chase Mobile app. Touch ID options will not display in the app unless you have set a passcode for your phone. For your security, certain features will still require that you enter your password.

You can grab the latest version of the Chase Mobile banking application from the App Store right now.
