Drafts gets its widget back in version 4.0.6

Despite releasing an update just yesterday that saw its Notification Center widget removed, Drafts has updated to version 4.0.6 today with the widget restored. Apple had previously requested that the widget be removed or changed due to button behavior, but the buttons are back with this update.

The Today widget for Drafts works mostly like it did before. The primary difference is the summary view, which will show your three most recent drafts. Tap the arrow button next to a draft to be taken directly to it in the app. You can tap the '+' button to open a new draft in the app, or the '+ clip' button to start a new draft from your clipboard contents.

There are other, smaller improvements in version 4.0.6 as well. You can press and hold the '+' button in Drafts to get the "New from selection" option. Additionally, URL action steps have a "URL encode tag output" option. There have also been improvements to background refresh, as well as a fix to some display issues.

Drafts 4.0.6 is now available on the App Store.
