Fantastical for iPhone and iPad gets a widget, extension, and more!

Fantastical for iPhone and for iPad have been updated to version 2.2, adding several new features for iOS 8. Fantastical now has a Notification Center widget, a share extension, and more.

Fantastical now comes with a configurable widget for the Notification Center. You can choose to view a full month calendar, a list of today's upcoming events, or both. When viewing both, tapping a date on the widget's calendar will show you the events for that day. You can also complete your reminders from the widget, which will then sync to iCloud without the need to open the app.

The share extension in Fantastical 2.2 lets you create events from any app that supports iOS 8 extensions. Create events or reminders from any selected text, then open the share sheet and select Fantastical's extension from the list.

There's also an interactive notification that lets you snooze an alert or complete a task. Fantastical for iPhone has an enhanced landscape view for your events on the iPhone 6 Plus. Fantastical 2.2 also contains a number of fixes and minor improvements.

Both the iPhone and iPad apps are on sale for a limited time, with Fantastical for iPhone available for 40% off, with 20% off for the iPad app. The updates to both versions are available from the App Store right now.
