Fight back against the dark forces in Demon Tribe

SEGA has announced the release of Demon Tribe, a game that combines elements of collectible card games, online battle arenas, and RPGs. It was created by Masayoshi Kikuchi, known for his work on the Panzer Dragoon series, the Yakuza series, and Jet Set Radio. You collect and capture new fighters in an effort to form your ultimate team from over 250 unique characters.

Combat is fairly simple. Move your fighter around the screen either by pressing and moving your finger in the direction that you want to move or by double tapping your desired location. Double-tap enemies to attack them. Every so often you'll gain the ability to transform your character into a more powerful version, which you do be pressing the center button. You'll also gain powerful abilities to use in battle that will help you take on more, increasingly powerful enemies.

Demon Tribe offers both solo and multiplayer modes. The singleplayer game sends players on missions to capture demons, technology, and resources to fight a coming demon invasion. Multiplayer consists of both a cooperative mode as well as player versus player. PvP pits two teams of three players against each other in arena-style combat. Players can form clans, which can then level up using the clan ranking system.

Demon Tribe is free to download, though it supports in-app purchases. It is available now on the App Store.
