OS X Mavericks introduced a new organizational tool in the Finder that helps you keep control of your files. Finder Tags automatically appear in the Finder sidebar, to help make it easy to find the files you're looking for, regardless of what folders they're in. You can also tag files stored in iCloud, to make it easier to find documents whenever you need them, wherever they are. To find the files after you've tagged them, you simply click on a tag in the Finder sidebar, or in the open or save window in your current application, and all items with that tag appear. Tags also appear in search results, and you can save your favorite tags to make it easier to find what you're looking for later.
