Google Wallet

Google has updated its Wallet iOS app with a new feature to help out when it comes to splitting the tab or bill with others. This new "split charge" functionality allows anyone to split the bill and assign a share of the total with available contacts. Selected people will then be reminded to cough up some funds to help cover the cost post-event. The company has also added Touch ID support for gaining access to the app and its contents.

Here's the full list of changes in version 8.174.19:

  • Use Google Wallet to divide the cost of any transaction
  • Set up Touch ID for secure and quick access to Google Wallet
  • Access your loyalty cards and gift cards even when you're offline
  • Now supporting native screen resolution on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+
  • Fixed problem that was preventing some users from opening the application.
