HBO Go gets picture-in-picture support, autoplay for shows

HBO has updated the app for its Go on-demand service with support for iOS 9's picture-in-picture mode on supported iPads. The feature allows you to keep watching your favorite HBO shows and movies while doing other things on your iPad.

  • Now binge-watch your favorite HBO series with the Autoplay Next Episode feature!
  • Multi-task while enjoying the HBO GO experience on select iPads and iPad mini models by using the Picture-In-Picture mode.

HBO Go is the premium channel's streaming service that requires a cable subscription to use. The company previously added picture-in-picture support to HBO Now, its standalone streaming offering.
