Here's the complete Beats 1 weekday and weekend schedule

Beats 1 has been running for a few weeks now, and while it's had a variety of fantastic programming, it's sometimes hard to figure out. Here's what we know so far about the Beats 1 schedule, as well a few different ways to check what's coming up.

Here's the Beats 1 schedule on weekdays and weekends

This is the schedule I've been able to piece together from a few weeks of listening. It's largely consistent week-to-week, but keep in mind that this could change at any point—the fun of live radio.

Monday - Thursday

Monday through Thursday, here's what you're looking at for programming (times listed in EDT). Each of the three primary DJs has their show broadcast twice—once live, once a replay—twelve hours apart. The three Beats 1 city stations have two 1-hour blocks, and are always broadcast live. Request and Chart are both also broadcast live, but only play in one-hour blocks.

Finally, every weekday you'll get a 1-hour programming block of specialty content, which includes recurring shows like Elton John's Rocket Hour (Monday), St Vincent's Mixtape Delivery Service (Tuesday), Joshua Homme's Alligator Hour (Wednesday), and Ellie Goulding (Thursday). If you miss the initial broadcast, this block is rebroadcast 11 hours later.

Here's what the schedule looks like, Monday through Thursday:

12AM-2AM: Zane Lowe (rebroadcast)

2AM-3AM: CHART

3AM-5AM: Julie Adenuga (rebroadcast)

5AM-6AM: Beats 1 London

6AM-8AM: Ebro Darden (rebroadcast)

On the weekend

Starting Friday morning ET, Beats 1's programming shakes up a bit. In the morning, Beats 1 has a weekly RELEASE show to talk about new tracks and albums, followed by three back-to-back one-hour shows from the three primary DJs.

From there, you'll see a regular rotation of the three city stations; a few recurring shows like Abstract Radio, WRTJ, Anna Lunoe, One Mix, A-Trak's Day Off Radio, Gratitude, MSFTS FREQUENCY, Soulection, Vice Music, OTHERtone, and Money Pizza Respect; and specialty weekend shows like Dr Dre's Pharmacy.

How to check for upcoming specialty shows

Beats 1 has already released a bunch of recurring specialty shows, but if you want to learn more about them, the Beats 1 website is the best place to go.

The website lists the next month's special artists (and links to their Connect pages, where you can find playlists from their shows), and on mouse-over or touch, will show you when they're next playing on Beats 1.

On your iPhone or iPod touch, you can also go to the Music app > Radio and tap on the Beats 1 banner to see the next twelve hours of shows and a list of current featured shows.

Add Beats 1 to your calendar

If you want to keep track of shows that have passed as well as what shows are coming up, you can add this wonderful fan-made calendar by Marc Boquet. It scrapes the next twelve hours of upcoming songs and adds them to a calendar you can subscribe to via iCal, Fantastical, or your calendar app of choice.

Any questions?

Shout out in the comments. Hopefully, though, this schedule info can help you catch what's coming up in your time zone!
