Should I go with Wi-Fi only or Wi-Fi + Cellular?
Everything depends on what you need your iPad Pro for. Some people will rarely bring their tablet outside of a Wi-Fi network and won't need the additional coverage. Others will use their iPad Pro as a laptop and want to be able to connect to the internet whenever, wherever. Before you consider getting one or the other, we've got some advice for you.

Should I order now and have it shipped to me or pick it up in-store?
Some of it depends on availability at your local Apple Store and how local the nearest Apple Store is to you, and of course, how long you can wait for it.
You can order the 10.5-inch iPad Pro online right now. In some cases, shipping time has slipped to about two weeks. In some places, in-store pickup is also delayed. At my local Apple Store, the 64GB iPad Pro won't be available to pick up until June 29, but the 256GB model is available for pick up right now.
If you have a serious case of FOMO, you should definitely buy your iPad Pro in-store. You can visit Apple's online store or use the Apple Store App to see what's available for pickup today. You may not get the exact model you want, but there is still a chance you could get one right away. Otherwise, you might be waiting a couple of weeks, even for an in-store pickup.
If you don't see the ability to order online for in-store pickup, you might want to take a trip to your local Apple store today and hope the iPad Pro is sitting on store shelves, waiting for you. You can even call first to ask if there are any available. Though, it's difficult to get an Apple store employee to divulge some information over the phone.
If you don't mind waiting, or the nearest Apple store is too far to drive to, you can order the iPad Pro today and expect it to be shipped within a couple of weeks (don't quote me on the time frame, shipping estimates may slip throughout the day).
How should I order online?
Whether you're having it shipped or want to pick it up in-store when it's ready, you can get the new iPad Pro directly from Apple's online store at Apple.com, or you can make your purchase from the Apple Store app, which can sometimes work better, especially when you're paying with Apple Pay.

Do I have to get it from Apple?
You don't! In fact, many official Apple resellers have limited iPad Pro devices in stock on launch day. Some even offer slight discounts or rebates, depending on where you decided to get one. If you're looking for a deal, or have a gift card for one of these retail stores, you can order right now. Some stores still have them in stock and you can pick one up today, or have it delivered a little faster than shipping from Apple.
