Apple Watch

Apple Watch has this great feature called "Time Travel" that lets you go back and forth in digital time to see everything that was — or will be — displayed on your watch face at any given minute of the day.

With the right complications set up, you can see the temperature, the phase of the moon, and much more. Whatever complications you have on your watch face, you'll be able to virtually go backward or forward in time more than a full day thanks to Time Travel.

How to activate Time Travel on Apple Watch

As of watchOS 3, Time Travel is off by default. Here's how to enable it.

  1. Open the Watch app on your paired iPhone.
  2. Select the Clock setting.
  3. Toggle the Time Travel switch to On.

Once you've done so, you're ready to use Time Travel.

  1. Start on your watch face. If you're not there already, double press the Digital Crown.
  2. Turn the Digital Crown clockwise to virtually fast forward through time.
  3. Turn the Digital Crown counter-clockwise to virtually go back in time.
