With tvOS 9.2, Apple added the ability to view your entire iCloud Photo Library to your Apple TV. That also means you can view any Live Photos you've taken in action on the big screen.
How to view Live Photos on Apple TV
- Open the Photos app.
- Select the Live Photo you wish to view.
- Press and hold the trackpad on the Siri remote.
Hold the trackpad down for around a half-second, then your Live Photo will begin playing.
If you press the trackpad on the Siri Remote and the Live Photo does not begin playing right away, your Apple TV may still be loading content from iCloud. Give it a little time, and try again later.
