PCalc is one of the leading calculator apps for both iPhone and iPad. PCalc is an (optional) RPN calculator that is great for scientists, engineers, programmers, and students. It includes a list of common constants, an ample amount of conversions, a paper tape that can be shared via email, and support for binary, hexadecimal, and octal calculations. You can also customize the look of PCalc with different themes and digit fonts.

The interface on iPad is rather beautiful in both landscape and portrait. The buttons are nice and big and everything is easy to read. Recent updated to PCalc have brought with it many themes and customization options that let you make the way you use PCalc uniquely your own. When iOS 7 was released, PCalc also updated its interface to be more flat and constant with iOS' new design policy. However, if you preferred the classic look of PCalc, the developer also includes the classic theme that can easily be applied inside the app's settings.

Not only can PCalc do more calculations than you can shake a stick at, it also can convert currency which makes it an all-in-one travel utility as well. It's also one of the most updated and supported utilities available in the App Store, which means you'll more than get your money's worth. Whether you're an engineering or a high school student studying calculus for the first time and the built-in Calculator app just isn't cutting it anymore, PCalc should definitely have a place in your Utilities folder, or even on your Home screen.
