iTunes U snags grade book improvements and more in latest update

Apple's dedicated digital education app, iTunes U, has received a small, but nonetheless interesting update this evening. There aren't many changes included, but the update improves quality-of-life for worrying students by including average grades within a course in grade books. Other changes include support for the upcoming iPad Pro, along with the ability to include images in posts. Here's the rundown:

  • Posts can now include images
  • Grade book displays student's average grade within a course
  • Grade book displays minimum, maximum and mean grades for an assignment
  • iTunes U is now designed to take advantage of the larger canvas of iPad Pro
  • Includes minor stability and performance improvements

Overall, it's not a bad update at all. If you happen to use iTunes U a fair bit, you can grab all of the changes in the latest update at the App Store link below.
