As rumored last week, Microsoft now has confirmed it will offer an update this week for the OneNote note taking software for the iPhone and iPad that adds share extension support for iOS 8.

Microsoft says that once iOS 8 is launched on Wednesday, the new updates for iPhone and iPad will add the share extension support. The company states, "Once enabled, the OneNote Share extension makes it easy to clip websites, export file attachments, save photos and more." Users can look for the "Share" button in any app and then tap on the "OneNote" selection to begin sharing content. It also requires the user to sign into their Microsoft Account.

What do you think of Microsoft adding this kind of support for OneNote for iOS 8?
