Next Expense Tracking 2.0 for iPhone brings a cleaner interface, French localization, and more

Next, one of our favorite expense tracking apps for iPhone has just been updated to version 2.0 and brings with it some refreshed design elements to better mesh with iOS 7 as well as some new features including French localization, the ability to add notes to expenses, and more.

If you're looking for an expense tracking app that doesn't require you spend a ton of time with it in order to use it, Next is a great option. It was one of the few apps that already looked great against iOS 7. The updates added even more elements that make it blend even better.

As for new features, you now have the ability to add notes to your expenses. To do so, just tap underneath an amount you've just entered and you get another cursor that brings up a keyboard to type notes. That's all there is to it.

Other new options include French localization, new icons for different categories of expenses, better statistics, and more. The only thing I'd really like to see Next add in a future update still is iCloud sync so your expenses can be saved in case the app ever gets deleted or a restore is needed. Other than that, it still remains one of my top picks for quick and easy expense tracking for iPhone.
