SwiftKey brings its popular Theme Store to the iPhone and iPad [Updated]

The SwiftKey theme store, long a fixture on Android, had made its way to the iOS version of the keyboard. The theme store, at present, has various themes that you can buy to customize your SwiftKey experience. Among the new looks introduced is the first animated theme for SwiftKey, Shooting Stars.

There are 12 new themes in total, including Shooting Stars. There are five new Nickle themes, variations on the existing Nickel Light and Nickel Dark themes. These new themes are Candy, Champagne, Dusk, Rose, and Watermelon. Six new Minimal themes are also available: Aqua, Blush Carbon Coal, Iceberg, and Juice. All of these are available for $0.99 each, while Shooting Stars is will cost $1.99.

This update also comes with a number of performance improvements that should reduce crashes. You can grab SwiftKey 1.3 from the App Store right now

Update: SwiftKey has let us know that they are experiencing technical difficulties with purchases at the moment, sending the following statement to iMore:

We're experiencing some technical issues with store purchase validation on iOS, but our team is working on a fix ASAP. We'd like to reassure customers that they will get the themes they have purchased once this issue is resolved.
