WWDC 2016

Apple's World Wide Developer Conference — WWDC — takes place in San Francisco California starting June 13. It kicks off with a keynote presentation on Monday, where it's widely expected Tim Cook, Craig Federighi, Kevin Lynch, Phil Schiller, Eddy Cue, and team will announce iOS 10 for iPhone and iPad, tvOS 10 for Apple TV, watchOS 3 for Apple Watch, and OS X 10.12 for the Mac (perhaps rebranding it as macOS at the same time). Also expected, new MacBooks Pro with a redesign, better chips, and potentially Touch ID and an OLED screen in place of the traditional function keys.

Following the keynote, Apple typically holds a State of the Union update for developers and the Apple Design Awards. The rest of the week is filled with sessions and labs to help developers get up to speed on all the new technology announced, and a Beer Bash to end the week on Friday.
