Take a peek at the new Apple TV's video screensavers

The new Apple TV is set to launch to the public soon, but right now you can preview one of the set-top box's features: some its new screensavers. The new Aerial screensavers, first previewed during the Apple TV unveiling in September, feature high definition aerial video in several beautiful locations. And now someone has found a way to preview them.

The Apple TV will periodically download new Aerial videos over time from a specific location, the URL for which has now been found. Benjamin Mayo of 9to5Mac has put together a page that will automatically update if new videos are added, and previews the current set.

The URL for this data source has now been found in the community. What I've done with this page is parse that data and make the list (above) of all the videos in the current Apple TV screensaver rotation. You can watch them all above too, streaming directly from Apple's servers. Just click one one of the links and the movie will start playing.

Current locations are San Francisco, Hawaii, China, London, and New York, with several selections for both day and night videos. You'll be able to view them on your big screen after the Apple TV launches to customers later this month.
