With the addition of new Hèrmes band colors, there are now nearly eleven thousand unique combinations of Apple Watch cases, bands, and faces. Well, 10,920, to be specific.
Think about it for a moment. Between two different sizes of case, eight different case materials and colors (aluminum, steel, and gold — and all their various colors), thirteen faces, and ten different Apple Watch band styles in more than 50 colors per size... that's a lot of unique combinations.
Of course, not all of those combinations are going to work well together (like a rose gold aluminum Apple Watch Sport with the Mint Sport Band... blech). You can try out most of the ten thousand nine hundred twenty combinations yourself on the Apple Watch mix-and-match gallery, though the Hèrmes and gold Apple Watch Edition models aren't included for luxury shopping reasons.
All of this is before we even think about third-party Apple Watch bands (of which there are many fine examples), watch face complications, and maybe even someday custom third-party watch faces... and whatever happens with the second generation of Apple Watch.
