Twitterrific for iPhone and iPad gets multi-image support and more

Twitterrific for iPhone and iPad has hit version 5.9, adding a number of new features for media, particularly for images. There is also support for rich media previews and new video features.

The major addition in Twitterrific 5.9 is multi-image support, both for uploading and viewing. With multi-image uploading, you can add up to four images to a single tweet. Viewing support allows you to view up to four images, and you can select individual thumbnails to view images one at a time, swiping through to view the next one.

Twitterrific now also includes enhanced support for other types of media. The app now supports rich media previews from a number of link types right in your timeline. You can watch videos directly in your timeline as well, from services like Vine and Instagram. Twitterrific also has support for Twitter's animated GIFs.

There have been a number of improvements to existing features and bug fixes with this release. Instagram photos now open with the in-app photo viewer, and tapping a media link in a tweet will now open the source page for things like App Store links.

You can download Twitterrific 5.9 from the App Store right now.
