What's new on the App Store: Twitter, Super Sharp, and apps for costume crafting

We start this week with some big app updates, starting with Twitter, which added its Moments feature. Blogging app Medium also received a major update with a new design, deep linking, and 3D Touch support. PlayKids offers colorful ebooks for early childhood education. Finally, there's Pause, a new relaxation app from the core team at ustwo.

Games this week are lead by Super Sharp, a minimal, physics-based game. There's also Psych, from the makers of the popular game Heads Up. You can also grab action RPG Dust: An Elysian Tail. Finally, fight against alien invaders in Max Ammo, which offers a variety of missions and weapons to help you fight off the alien horde.

With Halloween now right around the corner, Apple has collected apps to help you make your perfect costume. There are apps for inspiration, like Pinterest and craftgawker, and apps for learning a new skill, like Snapguide and Craftsy. If you need supplies, apps from the likes of Target and Michaels will help you get just what you need.

Check back next week for more new apps and games from the App Store, and remember to check out this week's Free App of the Week.
