You can now control Sonos playback from your iPhone's lock screen

Sonos has updated its controller app for iPhone and iPad, bringing some enhanced functionality to Apple's mobile devices. You can now use the built-in iOS playback controls on the lock screen and in Control Center to play, pause, and skip music playing through your Sonos speakers, for instance.

Here's what's arrived with Sonos Controller 6.3:

Quick lock screen control, Peek & Pop shortcuts and richer, more detailed audio streams on Rhapsody and Napster.

Note that Sonos has also released a system update for its speakers, so you may need to install that before you can take advantage of some of these new features.
