Some new images have surfaced that reportedly show off the rear cases for both the upcoming iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Reported by French blog Nowhereelse.fr, the shots align with previous rumors and leaks showing a dual-camera setup on the larger Plus model, while also revealing a larger single-camera slot for the 4.7-inch iPhone 7.
As seen in the image above, the reported case for the smaller, 4.7-inch iPhone 7 sports a much larger cutout for the camera than the current iPhone 6. Otherwise the design of the body is much the same as the current iPhone, albeit with shifted antenna lines.
Interestingly, in a separate report on the same photos, Engadget claims that we may see the 4.7-inch iPhone 7 come in two variants. According to its sources, the 3.5mm headphone jack, which Apple is rumored to be ditching, will stick around one at least on of the 4.7-inch models. It's still expected Apple will drop the port from the other 4.7-inch model in addition to the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus.
As with all rumors and leaks of this nature, it's best to take these with a giant grain of salt, as we've seen a number of conflicting reports regarding the iPhone 7 in recent months. However, as we approach Apple's typical iPhone launch month of September, it's likely we'll start seeing more solid evidence of what Apple may be cooking up.
