iMovie for iPhone and iPad makes getting started even easier

Apple has updated its iMovie app for iPhone and iPad, making it easier to start projects more quickly by letting you select multiple photos and videos. You can also now share to Facebook and Vimeo using the standard iOS share menu.

In iMovie 2.2.3 you'll find:

  • Start projects quickly by selecting multiple photos and videos
  • Share to Facebook and Vimeo using the standard iOS share interface
  • Support for Shared iPad in iOS 9.3 or later
  • Stability and performance improvements

iMovie 2.2.3 can be downloaded now from the App Store.

  • They aren't charging for this app update. If you have a quite old device, then it wasn't free for those.
  • Finally, I had a look at iMovie and it looked difficult to use and not like most Apple apps which are easy to use. I hope they updates the Garage Band app too at least on iPhone. Sent from the iMore App
  • iMovie is honestly really simple to use. I had learned how to use most of it's features in a few short minutes. You'll have no trouble picking it up if you give it a try.
