You can now pay for your Uber and Lyft rides with Apple Pay

Uber has updated their app with support for Apple Pay. With Apple Pay, you no longer need to create an account with Uber in order to use the service.
Previously, customers would need to create an account with Uber through their app, including adding a credit or debit card for payment. Now, if you have a card in Apple Pay, you can simply select that option, place your finger on the Touch ID sensor, and you're good to go.
In addition to Apple Pay, Lyft users can now get a price quote before you request a Line. Additionally, Home and Work shortcuts will be available right on the map.
You can download Uber 2.45 from the App Store right now.
