64GB iPhone SE will cost ₹49,000 in India

The 16GB model of the iPhone SE will retail for ₹39,000 in India, and Apple has now confirmed that the 64GB variant will set users back to the tune of ₹49,000 ($735) in the country.

The asking price is certainly quite steep, and as such it will be hard for Apple to attract initial momentum in the country. The iPhone SE is set to make its debut starting later this week, with April 8 slated as the tentative launch date. The 4-inch handset will be available in Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, and Space Grey color variants.
