Venerable accessory maker Twelve South has introduced two new cases for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The first is an updated version of the company's BookBook case, while the second is the all-new Journal case. Both leather cases also act as wallets, holding cash, cards, and ID along with your iPhone.
Twelve South (opens in new tab) on the Journal:
New in the BookBook case for iPhone 7 are upgraded card slots meant to prevent stretching and pilling, a new spine design, and a darker interior finish. The leather component of the BookBook is also removable, leaving your iPhone inside a protective thin shell case.

I like how Journal looks, but it isn't clear if apple pay works with this case on.
Very good point......
I have a BookBook case for my iPhone 6, and love it. I asked Twelve South exactly the same question for the BookBook, and they said that Apple Pay works fine with the case on. You could ask them directly, but I would bet that Journal does work with Apple Pay.
Journal looks exactly the same as the iPulse Leather , you can visit ipulsecases c0m
if you go to amazon , you will find out it has over 200 perfect reviews . and it came out 3 months earlier than Bookbook
The APPLE PAY works with iPulse
Twelve South are good .... I still have the charging stands they sell..... and i expect their all in one wallets are no worse... But it's not for, me I just can't used to them...
