What's new on the App Store: Marvel, Rodeo Stampede, and apps for the summer

We start our look at new apps this week with Marvel, which lets you prototype designs for apps right on your iPhone or iPad. GIFYme lets you create GIFs and video loops with several interesting filters, which you can then share on WhatsApp and Instagram. If you're serious about iPhone photography, check out Exify, which offers a wealth of information about the photos you take. Finally, take a look at Go, an app that lets you compare car insurance rates.

Our look at games this week begins with Rodeo Stampede, a game that challenges you to ride your way through a massive stampede of animals. Smash Squad is a top-down, physics-based battle game that pits teams of heroes against one another. Teeny Titans is a new 3-vs-3 battle title from Cartoon Network staring the characters from Teen Titans. You can also download and play The Sandbox Evolution, which lets you create and reshape your own digital worlds..

Summer has officially arrived, and Apple has put together a group of apps for great summer activities. If summer movies are your thing, Fandango can help you get tickets. Those of you planning a camping trip may want to check out Allstays Camp & RV to help you find a place to go that suits your needs. And before you head out for fun in the sun, be sure to open up apps like Sunshine or Fresh Air for detailed local weather reports.

Check back next week for more new apps and games from the App Store, and be sure to check out this week's Free App of the Week.
