Twelve South is now offering a version of its hugely popular BookBook case for the iPad mini. Twelve South already make this beautifully designed leather case for the 9.7-inch iPad, various iPhone models and now the iPad mini has been added to that list too.

Twelve South has announced that it will start shipping its hugely popular BookBook case for the iPhone 5 this Monday. The BookBook was first made available back in 2011 and was a superb case that was also a fully functioning wallet. If you were looking for a converged case and wallet then you couldn’t do much better than this. Well from Monday you can get hold of one for your iPhone 5 too.

The BookBook case was first made available back in 2011 and was a superb case that was also a fully functioning wallet. If you were looking for a converged case and wallet then you couldn’t do much better than this.

My list of most used accessories for 2011 is rather short, but these accessories are real gems. Like Leanna, Chris and Seth, I like to keep things nice and simple to help with productivity, and these accessories fit the bill perfectly. I don't like the wiz-bang accessories that add flash, but rather like to stick to items that add to the functionality of my iPhone or iPad. Here are a few of my favorites.

Well known Mac accessory manufacturer Twelve South has taken a step into the iPhone case making business and released a wallet case which it is calling the BookBook. The BookBook case has been modelled on a vintage leather book cover and really does look the part; if you are into vintage type book covers!

Protect your iPhone 4 between two hard-back covers. Fold the covers back-to-back to talk. It feels great in your hand. BookBook allows edge-to-edge iPhone access. No frames in the way of your thumbs here. You can access all iPhone controls and ports with BookBook. Charge, sync and use the headphone jack while your iPhone is safe and sound in its phone book.

The BookBook case is also a wallet so you only need to carry one thing with you when you go out. It doess appear to be a very nice looking case but I am just not sure if I want my iPhone to look like an old book. The BookBook case is only available for the iPhone 4 at a price of $59.99.
