Apple releases iOS 9.2 with Apple Music, Accessibility improvements and more
So far iOS 9 had been better the past couple updates. I hope they have done much improvements with this update
Finally, task manager stuttering has been resolved (6s plus).
I hope the 3D Touch trackpad is improved.. It certainly doesn't work all the time for me, no matter how hard I press!
And as for the 3D Touch shortcuts on the iMessage app: the order of contacts displayed makes no sense. Shouldn't the three most recent used contacts be displayed?!

They still didn't fix the Calendar issue were all day events don't show. That issue is more then a year old now, causing me to carry two calendar apps.
What issue is this? I've never heard of it before
Apparently if you create an event and set it as an all day event, the aforementioned created event will not appear in the Calendar widget in Notification Center.
What does "Adding support for VoiceOver to wake up the screen" mean? I use VoiceOver but don't understand this one

Does either Twitter or Facebook support Safari View Controller? Clicking on links doesn't look any different to me.
Does anyone know the version number? I dropped off the beta at 9.2 (13C75).
Great question. Mine is the same 9.2 (13C75) and won't update. The last time when I was beta testing 9.1 when the official build was released my 6s updated without any issue.
Build number is 13C75 same as beta 4.

It's the same, 13C75.

Thanks! No wonder my phone couldn't smell it. Actually, this build is one of the best I've ever had so I'm happy with it.
Agreed. Certainly one the most stable versions I've had. Beta 3 made my 6 plus really sluggish.
Ah... so we have had it for a couple of weeks now. I also noticed that I got a carrier update this afternoon from T-Mobile. That came over right after I checked for OTA Software Update. I suspect that would not have come through if my beta version was not also the official release. Not at all sure what the T-Mobile update was all about.
Same here. I got a carrier settings update through while checking for the OTA. Top stories also appeared in my news app. This has been a very stable release. Possibly been sitting with carriers both in US and here in UK and beyond before full release.
Love that Apple continues to improve the security and stability of their OS.
Hate that they addressed stability issues of the Podcasts app but not the biggest problem of the app. We still can't see video podcasts in full screen like we did prior to iOS 9.
Podcast app is really ******* me off. I have an iPad Air 1, it's bad enough in that. Have you seen it on the iPad pro? The video is the same size as on the iPad Air!!! Just MORE white. Atrocious.

Thanks for letting me know. I use my iPad Air 2 during my graveyard shifts to watch video podcasts. Considered buying the iPad Pro for a larger viewing space. Just another reason to hold on to my Air 2.
I want some tweaking to the landscape mode getting stuck on my 6s Plus.
Well...as i have noticed ( or maybe it is in my head) my i6 moves a lil' bit faster
So, what does it break?
Any new issues reported?

I like that they fixed the app switcher, it not as loose and easier to close out apps. That's about the only good thing I've noticed.
Yeah, much better!

All I want them to fix is the janky support for 3rd party keyboards. No such luck, this issue is ridiculous.
Speaking of jank, you know when you bring down the WIdget/Notifications panel? The moment you slide it back up again, you'll notice your wallpaper sort of janking or shifting. Small thing and doesn't impact performance, but if you notice it then it's the most annoying thing in the world. They still haven't fixed that yet!! Grrr...
You probably know for yourself by now but I saw that straight away with my new 6s+ and I was somewhat surprised at the lack of polish there when I saw it the first time. 9.2 has fixed that for me, transitions as you would expect now. no stutter at the top anymore!
They still haven't fixed the iCloud back up issue on the 6s/Plus. Fortunately, I don't rely on it, but I'm rather sick of the pop up that says "you have not backed up your iPhone to iCloud for 10 weeks, blah blah blah". If I relied on it, I'd be ******.

^^^^^... Correct, iCloud backup still does not work for me. Waited 6 weeks for this update. Very frustrated

One thing they should have improved with Apple Music. When adding a song to a playlist, it lets you add the song more than once.
Like Spotify, a prompt that the song already exists would be a simple feature to add.
