New devices help Apple make gains with businesses

Apple has increased its device share of the enterprise market, reversing a recent downward trend. Apple's iOS devices accounted for 69 percent of all corporate mobile device activations. This apparently comes down to the release of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, according to VentureBeat:
Good Technology says "The release of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus accounted for all of this gain." More specifically, iOS was down to 66 percent of activations in July and August, but comprised 73 percent of September activations thanks to sales of the new devices.
Among Apple's latest devices, the iPhone 6 is proving the most popular by a considerable margin, capturing 85 percent of activations to the iPhone 6 Plus' 15 percent. We'll be able to get a better sense of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus' impact on Apple's presence in the enterprise once both devices have been on sale for a full quarter.
