It looks like the announcement that Christian Bale will take on the role of Steve Jobs in an upcoming biopic produced by Sony may have been premature. Though we have yet to hear confirmation from Bale's camp, it is now reported that Bale will not be playing Jobs in the movie based on Walter Isaacson's biography. Rumors of Bale's exit from the role come just after we're hearing rumors that Seth Rogen may have been cast to play Steve Wozniak in the Aaron Sorkin movie.
The Hollywood Reporter reported that Bale felt that he was not a fit for the movie, citing un-named sources:
Christian Bale will not be Steve Jobs after all.... Sources say Bale, after much deliberation and conflicting feelings, came to the conclusion he was not right for the part and decided to withdraw.
We still have yet to hear official news from Bale's camp or from Sony.
