Delta Vice President of Marketing, Bob Kupbens heads to Apple as Vice President of Online Retail

Although Apple may have had some issues with grabbing Sebastien Marineau-Mes, BlackBerry's SVP of Software, it seems they have no issues as of yet in adding Delta Vice President of Marketing, Bob Kupbens to their employee list.

Kupbens, joined Delta back in 2010 and became responsible for their marketing strategy, global execution, CRM strategy and content development, driving all customer interaction across channels such as mobile applications, self-service airport kiosks, in-flight entertainment, customer email communications, in-flight Wi-Fi and social media. While at Target mobile was also his concern as he led their mobile eCommerce program.

It's easy to see why Apple may want him in their ranks as they appear to be loading up on smart individuals with proven track records for for their mobile payment services which are rumored to be in the works.
