Apple's Randy Ubillos, who created and led the development of Final Cut Pro, has announced that he is retiring from the company.
A 20-year Apple veteran, Ubillos led development of Final Cut Pro, as well as versions of iMovie and iPhoto. Ubillos announced on Twitter that today would be his last at the company, saying that he was looking forward to retirement.
After an amazing 20 years working on Apple products, today is my last day. I look forward to retirement and the adventures ahead. :-)— Randy Ubillos (@ubillos) April 23, 2015
Ubillos' announcement follows the retirement of Natalie Kerris, a long-time Apple PR executive. On behalf of everyone here, we'd like to congratulate Ubillos on his retirement, and say good luck on whatever comes next.
