It may have bombed at the box office, but Universal's recent biopic of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs still managed to receive four nominations for the 2016 Golden Globe Awards.
While the movie was shut out of the Best Picture-Drama category, Michael Fassbender was nominated for Best Actor, Drama for his performance in the title role. Kate Winslet was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Apple marketing head Joanna Hoffman. Aaron Sorkin was nominated for Best Screenplay while composer Daniel Pemberton got a nomination for Best Original Score.
The film itself got solid reviews from critics, but many Apple employees, past and present, criticized Steve Jobs for what they felt was an innaccurate look at the Apple co-founder. The winners of the 2016 Golden Globe Awards, which are voted on by the members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, will be named on January 10
