According to a new report from The New York Times, Apple has hired John Giannandrea, Google's now-former chief of search and artificial intelligence.
Apple has updated Core ML Tools to version 0.7. Included is a new TensorFlow converter that lets developers train machine learning models in Google's TensorFlow and deploy them with Apple's Core ML
Core ML is from Apple and it's new and sci-fi sounding, and that means some people will try to stick it in a headline and get attention, even when doing so clearly hurts readers and users.
