Google promised it, and now the update to Google+ that brings full resolution photo backups to the iPhone is live in the App Store. Full resolution videos are also supported, but only on iOS 7. The rest of the changelog:

  • Updated design for the notification tray
  • Share your location, see where your friends are, control who is displayed on the map
  • Translate posts and comments inline
  • Additional bug fixes and performance improvements

Google announced full resolution photo uploads for the iPhone and iPad at a special event in October. We've already considered how well the new Google+ will stack up against some of the main competition, but now it's here, will you be using it?
