Twitter for iOS updated, improves search, removes three video services

Twitter for iOS has been updated, improving search and removing the capability to upload to certain video services. Twitter for iOS will now give you more user and topic suggestions for your search terms based on what happens in real time. You will also receive these suggestions when adding a username or hashtag to a tweet. Additionally, Top Tweets from major past events will pop up when you search terms related to that event.

YouTube for iOS updated, can now send video to your TV or game console

YouTube for iOS has been updated, gaining the ability to send videos to your TV. Users can now pair their YouTube app on iPhone, iPad, or both with a Smart TV, Xbox 360, or Playstation 3, and the elect to play videos that they find through the iOS app on their television.

Instagram for iPhone updated with new filter and fixed privacy

Less than two weeks after adding the new Willow filters and other tweaks, Instagram for iPhone has added yet another filter called Mayfair. This update was actually available last night caused a bit of an uproar with a misleading privacy toggle. It appeared that private accounts were switched to public, but it turns out that was only a bug and private accounts were actually still private, and a new update today fixes that bug.
