2K Games has released LootTheWorld, a new iOS app for players of Borderlands 2, Gearbox Software's enormously popular first-person shooter with role playing game elements. The new app is a free download from the App Store.
LootTheWorld works in conjunction with QR codes. You get a code, your friends get codes. And Gearbox will be posting "Stamp codes" on Twitter and the Borderlands 2 Facebook page in the future. Scan the code, collect stamps, and use the stamps to send your collected loot into the game. What's more, you and your friends' codes identify what kind of "loot you are," as well.
